You will be tutored by Claire Boot, an experienced writer who’s passionate about the joys of writing.
The retreat offers a writing workshop every morning designed to get the words flowing.
Through prompts, games, and exercises, you’ll discover different ways into writing that will inspire and surprise you.

Claire’s work includes plays, prose, poetry, and creative writing resources for Sherman Theatre, Big Start Assemblies, and Literature Wales. She is a member of the National Association of Writers in Education.
Part of your experience will be your accommodation. Champagne House is Champagne themed and has an array of character features, relaxing areas, luxury suites, a plung pool etc.
Program
The creative writing retreat program includes learning the art of creative writing through practical writing workshops, followed by discussion.
Afternoon activities.
Evening informal session of sharing and discussion to nourish your journey as a writer.

All meals are included in your retreat price.

Location
Stepping out of the property there is a paved square with a bakery, tabac and two cafe/bars leading to a central walkway that spans across the town.
Built around 1760, this French period Maison is steeped in history. With love, care and attention this property has now been brought back to its former glory, complemented by its original architecture, marble fireplaces, amazing parquet flooring, wide oak floorboards and exquisite character features.
Entering the house you will find a long corridor leading to the stone, cantilever, spiral staircase.
To your left is the Lanson Library with its hidden bar, unique book case and an interesting librarian? To your right, a very impressive salon with its Grand piano, perfume cabinet, interesting artwork and a Champagne-themed lady?
At the end of the corridor is a dining room with a stone floor, table and chairs, this room looks out onto the courtyard.
There is also a small room with a washing machine and large fridge freezer.
This renovated Maison has been restored to its original French elegance and is Champagne themed.
It has an eclectic mix of French antiques, contemporary pieces, Champagne items, and a little courtyard Moroccan influence.
You will have time to explore what Condom has to offer, you may want to just relax read a book etc., as we have some excellent seating areas and of course a small plunge pool.

Champagne themed and we offer Chambres d’Hôtes, Boutique B&B, Full house rental and retreats/events .
There will always be a glass of bubbly and a warm welcome when you arrive.

As a group we will be collecting you from one agreed airport:
Toulouse Airport (TLS), Bordeau Airport (BOD) or Bergerac Airport (EGC).
Our retreats will be in June and September, the weather is usually hot and dry.

Rose Moët Suite – has two rooms with a double and a King, en-suite with bath and a seating area.
Veuve Clicquot Suite – has two rooms a single and a double, en-suite with shower and seating.
Pommery – has a King, a bath, and an en-suite with shower and seating.
Taittinger Suite – has a single and a king, bathroom with bath and seating area.
